Virginia Woolf'la tanıştıran, heyecanına aşık olduğum modern roman hocamdan bahsetmiştim. Elizabeth Outka.
Not: Bu aralar böyle sabun köpüğü yazıları. Kendi kendime konuşur gibi; idare edin.
"Hi Tugc! Forgive my delay—I’ve been on vacation and away from emails. So delighted to hear you’ve become a fan of Woolf. She’s remarkable, isn’t she? I wish you were going to be here next semester—I’m teaching a seminar on her writing, and I think you would really enjoy it. How great, too, that you’ve been reading from the list, and that you’re thinking about graduate school.
I’d be happy to write you a recommendation letter (though if another professor gave you a grade higher than a B, you may want to ask him/her.) Please let me know the deadline, any information about the program, and ideally, if you could send a draft of your statement for graduate school (or give me a better sense as to why you want to do this program), as well as your transcript (an unofficial copy is fine), and your resume (or a list of your activities). The more details I can put in the letter, the stronger it is! Hope you’re well! Great to hear from you. All best, EO"
